JanSport Backpack Review- JanSport Recruit
Backpacks can be a joy or a pain depending on the one you have. A well-designed backpack should hold everything you need it to, be comfortable on your shoulders, and look stylish to boot. I’ve had many backpacks and messenger bags, and one of my favorites is the JanSport Recruit Backpack.
The backpack is constructed out of durable nylon that holds up to the weather well. It comes in three colors that I’ve seen: a striking navy blue with blue highlighted zipper tags, nondescript gray with light blue zipper tags or deep black with royal red zipper tags. The straps are well cushioned and provide great support for the shoulders and back when loading the pack up with heavy weight.
With a size of 49 centimeters in height and 29 centimeters in width, this backpack can fit a lot of stuff. I regularly use it to store my weekly groceries and many times I can fit them all inside without any extra bags! You get a dedicated 15″ laptop compartment and a tablet sleeve that fits a 10″ tablet. It comes with two side pockets for drinks or snacks. You’ll also find more compartments with divisions for phones, pencils, pens, a mesh pocket, and a spacious main compartment to hold all your books, your lunch and a frisbee. You know, cause you’ve gotta take a break sometime.
What I like most about it is the construction of the pack in the nylon which makes it withstand rain and snow, and makes it super easy to wipe off and clean. The pockets are great if you like to keep organized. Overall, it’s a very dependable and comfortable pack and I recommend it.
